The tremor was felt across the three Local Government Areas of Obingwa, Ukwa and Ugwunagbo.
It came as distinct rumblings of cannons, drums and deafening jubilations as the good people Abia’s southernmost region, overwhelmingly accepted Tinubu, as Benjamin’s Peace Offering, for a Rewarding Realignment with the Centre.
Benjamin had packaged the Renewed Hope Partners Initiative with a clear but well directed punch line; Political Integration and Grassroots Advocacy.
The SouthEast, must as a matter of political expediency, abandon the self-destruct politics of “self-marginalization” and align decisively with the centre.
The mammoth crowd that attended the inaugurations, more than anything else, threw into sharp relief, Benjamin Kalu’s overwhelming popularity and political influence in the SouthEast region.
But much more than that, the event successfully unveiled President Tinubu as a true lover of the SouthEast and also showcased his unpretentious love for the people of the region, as demonstrated by his dedication to the development its human and natural resources.
Benjamin Kalu is surefootedly leading his people, harnessing their collective energies and offering them strategic partnerships in Nigeria’s political and economic transformation.
He is mobilizing his people at the community level to serve as ambassadors who would ensure that the benefits of national reforms are understood and felt in every household.
Benjamin’s high sounding bugle echoed and reverberated across communities, announcing the Renewed Hope Agenda, not as a distant vision, but as present Hope which is now.
Hundreds of thousands of Abians who trouped out to hear Benjamin’s good tidings, received it joyfully, while pledging their unwavering support and partnerships to President Tinubu and his
transformative movement of purpose, unity and national transformation, where cooperation with the Federal Government leads ultimately to regional prosperity and stability.
By this positive development, there may be no gainsaying the fact that President Tinubu’s approval ratings in the SouthEast has evidently increased tremendously.
Now more than ever, policies of the Federal Government, is expected to translate into tangible results in the SouthEast and across Nigeria.
Thousands of men, women and youths, answered Benjamin Kalu’s clarion call and received the symbolic broom which they proudly waved in the air as an affirmation of the directional, collaborative partnership between President Tinubu’s administration and the people.
