Spread the love

O Ben of Bende,
Son of a soil that births courage,
You walk not as a man alone
But as history clothed in flesh.

In your steps echo the drums of our ancestors,
In your voice lives the resolve of a people
Who refuse to be forgotten,
Who refuse to be silenced.

You stand robed in culture and conviction,
A bridge between yesterday and tomorrow,
Bearing the staff of honour,
Not for show, but for duty.

Bende calls you her own
Not because you sought glory,
But because you carried her name
With dignity into the councils of power.

You speak, and truth stands taller.
You rise, and the land remembers itself.
Unbent by noise, unbroken by pressure,
You remain firm
A son worthy of his lineage.

Ben of Bende,
You are proof that leadership can still be noble,
That courage can still wear humility,
That service can still mean sacrifice.

May your path remain lit by purpose,
May your voice never lose its strength,
And may generations yet unborn say with pride.

From Bende came a man who stood for the people.
