The Member Representing Bende South State Constituency in Abia State, Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi (Ijiriji Bende), today conducted an on-site inspection of the Uzo-oru-Egiri obia road in Umuokwa/Umuonyima, Amaegbuato, Nkpa. The road, which was severely damaged by a recent natural disaster, has hindered the community’s ability to transport their farm produce to urban areas.
Hon. Ndubuisi’s inspection was prompted by an urgent call for attention made by Hon. Pastor Okechukwu Dike Eriwaecheta, who highlighted the plight of his community. During the inspection, Hon. Ndubuisi engaged with community members, listening to their concerns and assessing the extent of the damage.
To address the issue, Hon. Ndubuisi proposed the construction of a mini motorable bridge, which will enable the community to transport their farm produce to urban areas safely and efficiently. He assured the community that he would engage the best hands to achieve this project within the shortest possible timeframe.
This intervention demonstrates Hon. Ndubuisi’s commitment to serving his constituents and addressing their pressing needs. The community expressed their gratitude for his prompt response and commitment to their welfare.
