SEDC MET WITH THE SENATE COMMITTEE ON SOUTH EAST DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION SEDC CHAIRED BY DISTINGUISHED SENATOR ORJI UZOR KALU.
The Senate and House Committee on Southeast Development Commission, SEDC had an interaction with the Managing Director, Mark Okoye and the Executive Directors of SEDC with the view of giving the commission a strategic roadmap.
The chairman Senate committee on SCDE Distinguished senator Orji Uzor Kalu charged the leadership of the commission to work in synergy with the State Governments to achieve quantum economy prosperity for the geopolitical zone, while leveraging on key growth sectors such as but not limited to agriculture, industrialization, creative economy and tourism that will catalyze proper reconciliation, reconstruction and restoration. The chairman Senate committee on SCDE stated that him and his colleges are strongly committed to giving the commission all the necessary legislative backing they need to make sure they achieve their goals within a short period of time.
