Yesterday, 20th April 2026 stakeholders of Bende South State Constituency convened a meeting to deliberate on the emergence of a consensus candidate for the Bende Federal House of Representatives seat.
Following extensive, robust deliberations, and a unified alignment of purpose, the stakeholders unanimously endorsed Hon. Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi (Ijiriji Bende) as the sole candidate of All progressive Congress (APC) for Bende Federal House of Representatives.
The motion for his endorsement was formally moved by Hon. Dr. P.C. Mba and duly seconded by Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa (Ota Bende), receiving overwhelming support and affirmation from members of the stakeholder’s forum.

At the end of the meeting, the stakeholders collectively agreed to commence further consultation with Bende North stakeholders in the spirit of unity, and broad-based consensus.
