A new dawn has come.
Our son, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu , has once again proven that true leadership is about service, not slogans.
He is building the biggest solar farm in Abia State and indeed one of the largest in the entire South East region.
This project is not just power, it is progress, it is development, it is renewal for every household and every young dreamer in Bende.
For years, we have endured darkness.
We have watched electricity come and go, restored and vandalized over and over again.
Yet, even in those trying moments, Ben never gave up on his people. He kept faith, he kept pushing, he kept dreaming of a brighter Bende. And now, that dream is taking shape before our eyes.
This is not about politics, far from it.
This is about love.
Love for our community.
Love for home.
Love for the people who have stood resilient through thick and thin.
From Umuahia to Bende, from our mothers in the markets to our children in schools, this solar project is a symbol of hope, a promise that Bende will shine again.
